Ajit Pawar Announces; Inaugurates Multiple Animal Husbandry Buildings
Pune, May 24:
“In order to give animal husbandry the same recognition as agriculture, steps will be taken to grant it the status of agriculture,” announced Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He was speaking during the inauguration of various buildings related to animal husbandry. He further stated that the development of the Animal Husbandry Department and its schemes should be aligned with the Agriculture Department for more effective results.
At this event, Ajit Pawar inaugurated three different buildings – Class 3 and 4 staff quarters, the National Livestock Gene Bank and the modern Animal Breeding Laboratory. The event was held at the Department of Animal Husbandry’s premises in Aundh, Pune. He was joined by MP Supriya Sule, MLA Sunil Tingre, and other dignitaries.
