Gai Mhashi Vatap Yojana 2025:
To boost milk production in Maharashtra, the government has launched an innovative state-level scheme to distribute groups of six, four, or two crossbred milch cows and buffaloes. This scheme is based on previous government decisions under the general, Scheduled Caste, and tribal area sub-schemes, which have now been formalized with administrative approval.
The scheme also considers including indigenous breed milch cows among the livestock to be distributed. Through this initiative, farmers will receive quality dairy animals, helping increase their milk yield and income.
